Coalition for the Homeless"For whenever you did it to the least of these my brethren, you did it to
Me." Come help serve the needy in your community! Join us at the Homeless Coalition of Orlando on the second Saturday of this and every month to cook and serve a hearty meal for the homeless. Our schedule is usually something like this:
You do not need to arrive at the very beginning or stay until the very end; just serve as long as is convenient for you. The Coalition is located on the northeast corner of Central and Parramore in downtown Orlando. To get there from Northland, take I-4 west to the Colonial exit and stay on the I-4 service drive. Turn left on Central (just before the Police Station) and watch for Terry Street on the right (about a block). If you pass a large, multicolor mural on the right, you've gone too far. Turn right on Terry and then immediately left into the parking lot (you will probably see many people standing or sitting around the entrance). Park in the lot on your right and enter through the kitchen (just past the shelter on your left). Our ministry is also in need of funds for groceries and new equipment for the kitchen.
